Spokane Lilac Festival - Spokane, Washington

    Armed Forces Torchlight Parade @ 7:45pm., Saturday May 16, 2009.
    NO Daffodil Float will be Attending this year., but OK to attend.

HYACK Festival, New Westminster,BC, Canada  

    Parade @11:00am. Saturday May 23, 2009 over Memorial Day Weekend.
    Hyack is a PACKET Festival (info available on-line). Located East of Vancouver,BC.

Forest Festival, Shelton, Washington

    Shelton is a DAY Parade only, located on Hwy. 101 between Olympia & Hood Canal.

Starlight Parade – Portland, Oregon

    Parade @ 8:30pm., Saturday May 30, 2009.
    Beautiful televised NIGHT Parade – Daffodil Float NOT attending this year.

    OK to attend on your own, perhaps via AMTRAK with an overnight stay.

Maritime Gig Festival - Gig Harbor, Washington

     Parade "Pirates of the Peninsula" @ 10:00am. Saturday, June 6, 2009.
     This Gig Harbor parade is a DAY Parade only, with Float and Royalty, NO Hotel.

     Starts deep in the harbor where Harborview Dr. turns north toward Anthony's/Shoreline, goes through
     town along the waterfront, and ends just up the hill above the Tides Tavern off Soundview Dr. & Judson St.       
     Watch for news of a Daffodil Family gathering somewhere nearby afterward.  It has been over 20 years since
     we last participated in this Gig Harbor parade.

Rose Festival, Portland,Oregon

    Grand Floral Parade @ 10:00am., Saturday June 6, 2009.
    The Rose Festival is a PACKET Festival, but NO Daffodil Float involved.

   Makes for a LONG day, so we recommend spending the night near Marysville.

Loggers Rodeo, Buckley, Washington

    Parade @ 10::am., Saturday June 27, 2009.
    Buckley is a DAY Parade only – NO Float, but possibly a car w/Princesses.

Fathoms of Fun Festival, Port Orchard, Washington

   Evening Parade @ 6:00pm., Saturday June 27, 2009.
   Fathoms of Fun is a DAY Parade only w/Float, across the Narrows Bridge near Bremerton.

   Fun to do lunch or dinner at restaurants near the waterfront and close to the parade lineup.

Fourth of July Parade, Eatonville, Washington

   Parade is @ Noon on Saturday July 4, 2009.
   Patriotic DAY Parade only, w/Float (wear “USA” Ties??).

   Staging is behind the High School Stadium, on the North entrance to town.
   “Daffodil Family” PICNIC afterward at Glacier View Park – 211 Fir Ave. N. - Eatonville,WA
   Bring friends & family and stay for this annual fun POTLUCK event.  Host= Daffodil Office.

Cornucopia Days, Kent, Washington

   Parade @ 2:00pm., SUNDAY July 12, 2009.
   Cornucopia is a DAY Parade only.  Fun summer afternoon parade in nearby Kent.

   Staging of off Valley Freeway 167, to the East on Willis St., and ends at North end of town.
   Lots of arts & crafts booths plus other fun events around town. Stay for an early dinner?

Capital Lakefair, Olympia, Washington

   Late Afternoon Parade @ 5:00pm., Saturday July 18, 2009.
   Lakefair is a PACKET Festival, w/Float – Deadline June 15.

Milton Days, Milton, Washington

   Milton is a DAY Parade only – With lunch afterward at the Daffodil Float Barn?

   Staging is at the school on top of the hill near Surprise Lake (main street to Edgewood and Meridian Ave.), and ends in downtown Milton.

Western Washington Fair Rodeo Parade, Puyallup, Washington   

   Parade @ 10:00am., FRIDAY Sept. 11, 2009.
   Royalty to ride in horse drawn carriage, NO Daffodil Float.
   Help kick off the Puyallup Fair with their “cattle drive” through downtown Puyallup on opening day.

Autumn Leaf Festival,  Leavenworth, Washington

Veterans Day Parade,   Auburn, Washington

Sumner / Puyallup Santa Parades, Sumner & Puyallup, Washington

   Parade Date:  Saturday December 5, 2009
   Parade Times:  SUMNER – 2:30pm., PUYALLUP – 4:00pm.
   Come and enjoy the fun and wear “Santa” scarfs & hats, etc..
   The newly selected 2010 Princesses will also be in attendance.
